Epica – 'The Solace System'

Epica has released “The Solace System,” an EP that is basically an expansion on their most recent album, “The Holographic Principle.”  All of the songs on the EP were written during “The Holographic Principle” writing sessions so naturally they carry the same vibe and consistency. 

“The Solace System” is complex and interesting. Guitarist Isaac Delahaye explained that the band used more live instruments than in previous albums and that this album is "one of the band's most ambitious offerings to date.” 

I met Delahaye backstage at the Marquee Theater in Tempe, Arizona, where he explained the unusual step of releasing an EP expansion of “The Holographic Principle,” as well as touring North America.  Check out the video and learn more…
